This is one of the best looking advertising pieces ive ever had, its a large heavy piece made from somekind of pot or plaster material, id guess its from the 1920s-40s period, not really sure what itys advertising, it has some printed writing on her chest, some is unreadable as its partially worn off. viewing and collection is best option as photos dont do it any justice, it displays very well and im sure it will be a long time before you find a better one, ideal as a display piece if you sell vintage clothes etc as you could model hats on it etc. it measures about 61cm high and weighs about 5.8kg, i think it might be a hand made piece as you can see where it has been sculpted etc especially around the neck, its very difficult to tell if the marks and cracks are a result of old damage or restoration, cant see anything looking inside from the base, but to be safe ill sell with possible restoration, it should be pretty easy to cover the cracks up using makeup, some paint loss in places especially on the hair. but still a very beautiful and rare advertising piece. i would prefer pick up on this as i think its too fragile to post, so feel free to arrange your own courier or get quotes from the anyvan or shiply courier sites but please note it would be better blanket wrapped in van and secured rather than bubblewrapped and boxed. so again if your organising a courier let them know it wont be packed. as a very last resort i will pack and box and either send by post or my own courier but please note it will be expensive as ill have to use the fastest service etc.
