GOING OUT OF BUSINESS CLEARANCE! After being in the business of machining and engraving custom automotive accessory parts for over 6 years, I\'m now shut down. Selling off my remaining inventory at Clearance prices. Thissale is for a custom reproduction billet aluminum Hood Ornament Insert for the 1961, 1962 and 1963 RamblerAmericans. Please Note: this sale listing is ONLY forthe Black Aluminum insert, it does NOT include the chrome hood ornament. I havethe ornament itself pictured so you can see what the insert looks like whenit\'s actually put into the ornament.

It allstarted about 7 years back when my own \'62 american was missing it\'s HoodOrnament Insert. The hood ornament looked downright ugly without theinsert (I included a picture of the hood ornament missing it\'s insert). Ifirst went to a popular online rambler parts supplier to see if they hadone. They said they had a \"reproduction\" of one, and I boughtone. When I received it, it was just a stinking vinyl sticker! Itlasted all of 2 months on the car. One high pressure car wash, and\"adios\" expensive vinyl decal.

Being along-time CNC machinist, i decided I could do better than that. In factsome of you may remember seeing my \'64-\'69 rambler American Hood Emblemsalso. I took some billet aluminum, and machined the raised rambler\"R\" logo into it. I notched it, just like the original emblemswere, and painted them Black. I used a \"Multi-Metal\" epoxy to bond myemblem into the hood ornament, and there it stayed. It was not comingout. And it looked great. I no longer have that car, but I do stillhave a few emblems left that I\'ve decided to list at and at a VERY low starting offer.

Again,this is machined from solid billet aluminum. it\'s not just a vinyldecal. it\'s not some thin stamped metal piece (It\'s about 3/16 inchthick!!!). I hope the pictures give a good idea of just how nice of apiece this is.
