1962 AMI Continental II XKJB-100

I acquired this machine to play 45\'s alongside my pre-war 1940\'s jukebox. I\'ve enjoyed the machine, but am changing around my collection. I bought this machine immediately upon inspection due to the quality and condition of the machine. It is beautiful.

This machine was restored by a well known Connecticut based jukebox shop who has been in business over 35 years. The complete restoration was done a few years back by the previous owner, but I did speak to the restoration shop that did all the work. This was a solid candidate for restoration and a nut and bolt restoration was done. The only pieces of the jukebox that were NOT restored touched is thestainless trim that goes around the cabinet. That looks original and in good condition. All of the chrome (with the exception of the radartower and its neck), the plastics, the lenses, the plexiglass and mechanicals WERE restored/rebuilt/replated/replaced. The amp, mechanism, record selector mechs and coin mech was all rebuilt. You could eat off the inside of the machine.

Everything works as it should.I just had the machine serviced and oiled. This jukebox has the 33/45 Auto-Mix option as well. I\'ve tested the Auto-Mix out with a 33 RPM Christmas album and it works fine.

The plexiglass dome and chrome trim ring is gorgeous. The radar-style selection board is original and was notre-plated. It was definitely buffed. The neck that connects the radar tower to machine was polished out and the ami logo was redone.See pics.

The key selector board\'s chrome was replated and contains new buttons. That is a big-bucks item to replace to show quality. The letter boards and coin selection text is also new. The coin mechanism was tested on nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars. I have the change box key and cabinet keys as well. The restoration also included refinishing the change bucket. No details were missed.

You must coordinate shipping with a carrier. I\'m often working from my home office, so I can be here to make sure it\'s wrapped as good as possible and handled with care as it is shipped out.
