About Angie Olami and Roman Glass
Wearing Angie Olami Roman Glass jewelry is like participating in an archaeological discovery. The history and romance of the glass combined with artful craft gives you a one of a kind item. While buried for 2000 years, the glass shards became oxidized resulting in a colorful pigment layer called patina-creating a fascinating spectrum of delicate blue, green, purple, red, gold and silver colors. All stones used are semi-precious gemstones, seed pearls, Murano glass beads and Czech crystal. Metal is Sterling Silver. Angie’s artistic style is based on the ancient symbols and cultures of Israel, Mesopotamia, Greece and medieval Florence as well as Byzantine and Roman mosaics.
Care: Do not get it wet or touch the glass. Polish only the silver with a soft jewelry cloth as needed.
