Anthentic C.w.parker Wooden Carousel Horse #36 Professionally Restored:
Here is a beautifully restored antique C.W. Parker carousel horse, #37, "Old Paint Jumper" this horse is known as. I have included pictures of the finished horse and how it looked during the restoration. It still has its original C.W. Parker horseshoes on the feet, they read "C.W. Parker, Leavenworth, Kan." This is a beautiful piece of antique circus / amusement park memorabilia. 64 inches long, 32 inches high and 12 inches deep. This is a heavy piece, I would guess maybe 150 pounds, so it will either have to be picked up by the buyer or I can take it to a "Post net" store for shipping, which the buyer will be responsible for, it would be just at $1000.00 to pack and ship, I checked. This is your chance to own a real piece of circus history with a merry go around horse by one of America's premier carousel manufacturers. I was told by "Citizenshipper" that it can ship for around 500.00, but I don't know that for a fact, but they emailed me and informed me of that fact!
A C.W. Parker Carousel Horse is one of the most popular and valuable types. C.W. Parker was the only maker to affix his name. He would put his name on the shoes of the horse. C.W. Parker Carousel Horses were called "carry-us-alls" because they were on a Carousel and moved from town to town usually with a circus. He started making carousel Horses in 1892. In 1917 he made them out of aluminum. Thus making this horse most likely 100 years old or more. This Beautiful horse is one of the finest examples of his work that I have seen. I would guess that the apprised retail value of this horse to be around $5,000 or more. Gorgeous piece!!!! DON'T FORGET, SHIPPING WILL BE ON TOP OF THE PRICE THIS IS BOUGHT FOR, THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR CAN'T DO STUFF LIKE THIS, SO PAY no ATTENTION TO IT. DO NOT PAY VIA S INVOICE SYSTEM, THEY ARE WRONG MORE TIMES THAN NOT, WAIT FOR MY INVOICE!! Please excuse the higher handling cost, it is the only way allows us to cover the cost of insurance, we sellers cannot afford to eat that cost, and once again, s stupid rules make it harder on seller and buyer alike. They just don't get it!!! INSURANCE WILL BE ADDED TO ALL ITEMS OVER 50.00. INTERNATIONAL buyers ATTENTION: (NO EXCEPTIONS) All items, (regardless of weight) will be shipped either (A) Priority Mail or (B) Registered mail which is $11.50 in addition to shipping cost. The most economical option will be used. If it is $250 or more, it will be shipped EXPRESS mail, which can get expensive. This is to due to Paypal's rules, as there is no other way to verify delivery and I am getting tired of losing out because customs holds up or "loses" my packages. Paypal is preferred method of payment but all forms of payment accepted! All of the items you see listed in my sales are fresh stuff, not from shops and sales. I am and have been for 37 years, a door to door picker and that is where all my items come from. So keep a close eye on all my sales, you never know what I will find!! We combine for shipping if you buy multiple items. ALL OUR ITEMS ARE GUARENTEED TO BE AS STATED AND THIS IS THE ONLY REASON WE REFUND, THESE ARE ANTIQUES AND AS SUCH, ARE NOT MASS PRODUCED WITH QUALITY CONTROL, SO THERE WILL BE AT TIMES SCRATCHES AND SO FORTH---ANTIQUES. Continued rising peanuts, bubble wrap and labor cost have forced us to add a $1.00 to our handling charge. Unless an object is too large, we always try and ship by priority mail as it is more dependable and we have fewer problems with breakage, but will if possible, use the most economic method possible. Payment must be in U.S. funds. Thank you
