Offered for your consideration - ANTIQUE ROLLER TYPEFLUTER IRON The iron is in good used condition. I believethese irons were used in the late 1800's by staff members of wealthy people who had the servantsflute their shirts, cuffs, etc. This unit is unusual as it has two roller adjustments, one on each side, normally there is only one adjustment - picture #4. Also pictured in photo #4 is the lever in the middle of the roller, this lever raises top roller so fabric can easily be inserted, alsothe lever on the right side can be moved down to hold the roller open while fabric is inserted. I found no dates or Mfg. name, thereare some letters showing on themounting plate but I can't make them out, it maybeof foreign mfg. There is paint missing and some surface rust.
