ANTIQUE 18thC GEORGIAN SOLID SILVER CASED FISH SLICE, PETER & ANN BATEMAN c.1869 Description

Antique 18th Century Georgian Solid Silver fish slice, in its original leather case. The piece is richly gilt, beautifully pierced and engraved with exotic birds, according to the Chinoiserie fashion. Vacant cartouche.Hallmarked English silver (925 Standard), London, year 1796 (A), Maker's mark PLAB (Peter & Ann Bateman, very important silversmiths).

In Excelent Condition - No damage. The box's hinge is a bit loose.
