Fresh from a New England Estate is this Rare Early Antique Indian Basket. I\'m no basket expert by any means but i have not seen any baskets like this type so i dont know what it was used for.. I was told this Native American Indian basket probably originated out west and that it was from the 1800\'s. The craftsmanship of this basket is amazing its an incredibly tight weave.Measures about 7\" x 7 1/2\" x 5\" tall its a very unique style the sides taper slightly up to form the top opening. The square opening measures about 3 1/2\" square. The middle of the bottom looks like some sort of hide where the weave goes arround. If you have any info regarding this basket please feel free to share it as I\'m always eager to learn.
