Antique 19th Century Imperial Russian Solid Silver salt, richly gilt and decorated with traditional Russian ornament of scrolls and beaded borders in polychrome cloisonné enamel. Hallmarked Russian silver 88, Moscow, year 1888, Assay's mark AP (A. Romanov), Maker's mark AMK (Kuznichev Antip Ivanovich - owner of the gold, silver and bronze manufacturers, founded in 1856).
