Description
Antique 19th Century Victorian Solid Silver hand embossed four piece tea & coffee set, comprising of pear-shaped coffee pot, teapot andrichly parcel giltsugar bowl and milk jug. The set features a beautiful workmanship and design, the sides are beautifully embossed with flowers and acanthus leaves, partially textured surface. The tea and coffee pots with hinged lids surmounted by exceptional cast floral finials, each piece bears hand engraved initials. All parts are fully Hallmarked English silver (925 standard), London, the coffee pot and the jug year 1856 (a), the teapot year 1857 (b) and the sugar bowl year 1858 (c). Maker's mark WH (William Hunter, great silversmith).
