ANTIQUE 19thC VICTORIAN SOLID SILVER CANDLESTICK, H WILKINSON, SHEFFIELD c.1842
Description
Antique 19th Century early Victorian magnificent Solid Silver large candlestick, cast and chased in the finest Rococo Style design. The baluster stems and urn-shaped capitals have been decorated with an abundance of scrolls and foliage. Hand engraved family crest on the base of the candlestick and on the detachable sconce. Both pieces are Hallmarked English silver, Sheffield, year 1842 (x), Maker's mark HW & Co (Henry Wilkinson & Co).
