Antique 20th Century French Solid Silver trophy cup / vase. The piece is exceptionally richly gilt and bears the inscription "Coupe G-P Rateau" (probably a regatta's name) and a logo. Hallmarked French silver both on body and base (Minerva's Head 950, very high silver purity), it dates to around the 1920. Maker's mark H&CELe (Henin & Cie, active from 1895).
