Up for sale we have an UNBELIEVEABLEMINTONS MOUSTIERS Porcelain plate/dish. Measuring 9.5\" in diameter, about 1.5\" high, incredible cobalt blue coloreddesign ofBlue Floral Vines, Embossed Basketweavewithgold around the outer lip and the inner ring/rim!!! Weighs just over 1 lb. I don\'t know exactly how old it is, but certainly mid to late 19th century. See the logo on back; also, some etchings into the glaze, but I can\'t read them.
In absolutely fantastic shape!No chipping whatsoever! Definitely some gold has rubbed off over the years, moreso on the inner ring, but I\'d estimate overall that about 2/3 of it is still there. A tiny speck can be seen if you get really close, and honestly I can\'t tell if it\'s some crud, or if it\'s actually a small speck of stray gold leaf. I\'m gonna leave it alone. I\'m not an experienced porcelain cleaner, so I don\'t want to damage it. To sum up... This is an fine, fine piece!
