ANTIQUE ANGLO INDIAN 15K GOLD MOUNTED VICTORIAN PERIOD RAJ BROOCH c1870 :

Aterrific qualityantique English solid15 carat gold (tests thereabouts) mounted pin brooch; beautifully made, with finelyapplied twist-cable gold orb and, pure gold nugget highlights, with a claw of the period, topped with a pure gold nuggets. These were often brought back from India in the days of the Raj.

A very high quality, wonderfully collectable pin - very wearable too!

CONDITION: All original andvery good. Slightest signs of gold wear commensurate with age and use. Will clean up beautifully.

DEFECTS: None.

DATE/MARKS: Around 1870/80. Not marked.

DIMENSIONS:40 x 44mm(1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.

WEIGHT: Approx.14.4 grams.
