Antique Anglo Indian Faux Ivory Goblet Chalice Mughal Decoration Late 1800's Nr For Sale
This interesting late 1800's turned faux ivory ox bone goblet stands 140mm (5.5'') high x 50mm (2'') across the rim and weighs 49 grams. It is decorated with Lac work and was a 19thc copy of a much earlier Mughal design. As is typical with this type of material the top section has split and been very badly repaired and the bottom two sections are fine and I am sure it would be well worth the restoration.
