ANTIQUE ANSONIA CLOCK: Made In New York (Pat\'d date: June 18, 1882) Model 112:
$39.00

This sale is for an antique mantel clock made by the Ansonia Clock Company of New York. The patent date is June 18th, 1882. The model may be \"112\". That number is stamped into the inside of the back panel. The body of the clock appears to be cast iron. There is a date written in pencil on the bottom of the clock, and a damaged paper store tag. The date is 7/9/30. The tag appears to show that the clock was purchased in Philadelphia. I am unable to make out the other information written on the tag. This clock is being saleed for restoration, or as spare parts. I hope that the photos accurately describe the clock\'s condition. I will list some of the obvious issues, but I am not an expert in clock works. I have located generic clock diagrams, which list some of the basic parts that are normally present in this type of mechanism, in an amateur attempt to address condition. Please ask questions, if you do not feel that I have addressed all of your concerns. The bezel is missing. It appears as though it had been attached with a hinge, which is broken. The clock face and hands are suffering from age related wear/damage. It appears as though most of the internal mechanism is intact. The pendulum rod is present, but the pendulum bob is missing. The back cover is attached and opens/closes, but the clasp is partially broken off. The main body of the clock seems to be in good condition, considering age and lack of proper care. There are no obvious dents, major scratches, or other serious damage to it\'s integrity. Terms & Conditions:
