Early 1900s antique pre prohibition beer brewery advertising mug - height is appx 4 1/4 inches; maroon colored lettering and logo on the side of the mug: INDEPENDENT is arched over a small picture of a factory with a wreath of grain and hops and a letter \"B\";also in maroon lettering below is: \" BURG BRAU \" in fancy script; the base mark reads: \"Peter Schiller & Co. / Chicago\" within a circle; excellent condition - no chips, cracks, etc. - very sharp lettering and picture. (( The Independent Brewing Association was located in Chicago, Illinois - their brand name was \"Prima\" )).
