Selling from a local estate this unique & rareantique bronze / brassNutcracker with thelikeness of Germany's Otto Van Bismark atop two very ornate handles. The handles havemany different symbols, eagle, owl,scale of justice, cannons, swords, muskets,etc. and with the help of some fellow ers we think the two heads of a Man & Womanmay be that of Mars & Minerva or Ares & Athena the goddess of war. This wonderful bronze has very good detail and quality andhas thenumber " 13 " on the bottom of the handle.I think it is in very good conditionhaving a nice old patina showing normal age evident wear.
