Antique Carved Floral Necklace Pendant Asian Bone Estate 1800 Old Rare Victorian For Sale
Well well well, look what we have here. It's a gorgeous carved floral centerpiece for a necklace. This came from Dorothy's estate. Dorothy was an avid collector of art. She traveled the world with her father collecting Native American baskets (which she donated to the Museum of Man in San Diego because they were the only Museum that promised never to resell them). She also went to San Francisco a lot, collecting antique Asian art imported pieces. She was born in 1902, so she spent a life collecting the good stuff. I inherited her jewelry collection. This was the centerpiece to an old beaded necklace, the string on the beads had decayed with age, and broken. But THIS is a fabulous find. Cream color, ornate hand carved oxbone from the 1800s. Measures a bit wider than 2", weight is 6.5 grams. There are 2 small holes in each side where this handmade bone piece was threaded into the necklace. This won't last & is totally irreplaceable, you just can't find these anymore! To an appreciative home please.
I combine ship, just 50 cents for each extra win. Shipping includes tracking, insurance available upon request.
