ANTIQUE CAST IRON SUNFLOWER BUTTER STAMP MOLD 19th C American Vintage Kitchen Here is a 19th century American butter mold/stamp, heavy cast iron, 4 1/4 in. diameter, excellent vintage condition. This wonderful little mold is three-footed with the remains of green felting on each foot to protect surfaces. The design features a deeply carved motif of a sunflower with spread leaves and flowerembellishmentsall around, with a decorative ring border. A warm buttery yellow paint covers the surface, all over worn, the wear in its original state. Very nice little find.~~~~~~~~~Thank you for visiting.
