Antique Chinese Robe Ornament Carved Coral Clip Silver Enamel Frame Dragon For Sale
Well crafted and stamped on the back of the frame in two different areas “China” and “Silver.” We believe it dates to the 1800s. The oval shaped frame measures 1 ½” long and slightly over 1” wide. The frame has filigree work and blue enamel designs with one open area at the bottom of the clip where one piece of enamel is possibly missing. The central piece of carved coral is in the abstracted shape of a dragon, and is well carved and undamaged, and has open areas. The coral measures approximately 1 ¼” x ¾”.
