Antique Early 1900s French Rosewood Marquetry Inlay Tulip Table Carved Roses Leg:
We are pleased to offer this beautiful, OLD, French inlay marquetry table. This wonderful accent table features a combination of mahogany and rosewood. There is a unique inlay design on the table top which features a tulip flower at each of the 4 corners. The table is oblong, not square, with rounded curves that soften the lines. The top is skirted on each side with an inlay design on the 2 longer skirted sections. The delicate cabriole legs feature acarved rose and leaf drapery detail on the upper sections with additional carving on the lowerregions. The table is quite nice and is in good condition. There are some signs of age/use on the finish. These do not distract from the table and do add to its "antique character". These can beresolved, if you prefer, with a little stainand a top coat of varnish. Asis common with these tables, it is not heavy. It is structurally very good. THE TABLE IS STUNNING!
The table measures 24" wide at the top. It stands 27" tall and is 16" deep (front to back) on the table top.
Due to the fragile nature of the table, as well as the size, shipping will be via Greyhound. They are much gentler in their handlingof packages as they do not subject their packages to conveyor belts and hand carry them. They are also much less expensive on packages of this size. Paypal accepted.
