Description
An antique early 19th century British pearlware blue & white transfer-ware meat drainer decorated with a scene depicting the \"Bridge of Lucano\". The scene either taken from an undated engraving by A.H. Payne after a painting by H. Bibby OR or an engraving by George Hackert . Dates C1810-1840.Unusually this plate has some of the drain holes shaped like apostrophes.
Printed pictorial mark to base with central crown.

Generally good condition.Hairline on either side of one of the draining spots on the underside only.
