1crazecollector Store sale WE CHARGE a 4.95 HANDLING FEE ON ALL ITEMS Provenance: All the contents that I will be listing this week come from two different estates-One a historical society that many of the pieces were on display and now are being sold off by the estate owner and a a Connecticut estate that the owner was downsizing-All pieces are antique dating from 1500s to the 1800s-I do not have any 20c pieces from the estates mentioned-So good luck and hopefully you will take home one of these treasures!!!- ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED AS SATED-
Up for sale is this beautiful solid heavy bronze statue of a snake holding a incense burner pot-The only markings I can find are on the side of the censer--the snake measures 11.5" tall and is in fine antique condition-the censer looks to be a mixed metal-brass silver not bronze-The base of the censer has a hole with an old piece of cork in it- maybe there was another piece that inserted into the base and held the incense-I don't know this is how it was sold to me-It's a great looking early piece!!!!
