ANTIQUE FINE VICTORIAN 19C CAMEO PIN AND PENDANT SET IN 14K WHITE GOLD NO RES
Up for your consideration in this listing is a fine late 19th century Victorian carved cameo set in a 14 karat white gold frame.
This is a very pretty and exceptionally carved example. The cameo measures 1 3/4 inches by 1 3/8 inches or 45 by 35 mm. This piece can be used either as a pendant on a chain or a pin. It has both a pin with safety clip and a hinged loop for putting a chain through.
As you cab see by the photographs the carving shows a Belle Epoch young woman wearing a diadem of grapes and grape leaves. The white gold surrounding frame is cut leaf and vine design.
The catch is marked "14K". I have also tested the metal and it is all 14 karat. The cameo weighs 5.2 pennyweights or 8.1 grams.
Both the gold work and the cameo itself are in excellent condition and ready to wear.
