You are offerding on a lot of early folk art which includes two early 19th century painted fraktur fragments, a wonderful toleware bank with traces of green and cream paint, a china doll\'s head marked Germany and a silk pincushion. The frakturs are guaranteed authentic or your money refunded in full on the lot\'s return. My best guess is that they were cut out of someone\'s sketch book, judging by the back of the one, which has some scribbles. The colours are still vibrant, but of course, since they date to the early 19th century, there is foxing and some bleeding of paint. They were look amazing either framed together or separately in a birdseye maple frame. The little toleware bank in the form of a house looks SO much better in person with its wonderful tall roof and good early paint and dates to the 19th century. The china head clearly has some condition issues (a piece missing from lower front and hairline crack on one side of the shoulder), but is still a wonderful little early piece. Finally, the silk pincushion circa 1900-1920\'s is in excellent condition and such a whimsical pattern! Clearly some fading to the silk as to be expected with age. A great little lot of early folk art!
