ANTIQUE FRENCH BRIGHT YELLOW & FROSTED GLASS ACID ETCHED DUPLEX OIL LAMP SHADE :

Superb large French deeply etched glass oil lamp shade. The photos do not do it justice, as the yellow comes up to about half way up the shade, fading gradually to frosted glass. (The photos only seem to be able to show it clearly on the edge.) Also the colour is more vibrant than the photos show.It measures approx 7 inches (17.7cm) high. The frilly end measures 8 3/4 inches (22.2cm) in diameter. The fitting end opening measures just under 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter (external measurement). In good condition for it\'s age. There are a couple of very tiny nicks on the frilly rim, and minor wear on the edge, in several places. Please see photos. No large chips.
