Item: - 9ct GoldAmethyst & Seed PearlClusterRing

Description: -This is an antique Georgian period 9ct goldamethyst & seed pearl cluster ring. The ringis set witha centrally set faceted amethyst, surrounded by13 seed pearls, and a further6 seed pearls to the shoulders of the ring. As was common for the period the ring is unhallmarked, and has been tested, and confirmed to be 9ct gold minimum fineness.

Period: - Early 19th Century.

Date: -circa 1820s

Measurement: -The ring is a UK SizeP1/2and US Size 73/4.

Weight: - 4.4 grams / 0.14 troy ounces

Condition: -The ring is in good antique condition. The amethyst displays minor wear and is good overall condition. The pearls are well matched in terms of colour and have good lustre. They have a little wear to the surface commensurate with age. The ring has minor tarnishing/patina. The ring has a spacer to reduce the ring finger size. This could be removed by a jeweller if required. Please see photos for confirmation of condition.
