* sale * Rare Antique Georgian 18th Century 9ct Gold, Silver and Diamond Ring This antique 18th century ring is made of 9ct yellow gold with a silver diamond setting. The ring front features seven genuine diamonds - a mixture of 'rose cut' and 'table cut'. The ring shoulders taper to a reeded shank. Ring Size Approximately a UK size N and a half / US size 6.5 - 7 Weight Approximately2.3 grammes Dimensions The diamond set ring front measures approximately 1.1cms diameter
Hallmarks As is often the case with jewellery of this age and type there are no hallmarks, but the ring has been professionally tested and has been found to be composed of 9ct yellow gold and a silver diamond setting Gems 7 x diamonds (5 x 'rose cut' and 2 x 'table cut') Condition This ring isover 200 years old and is in good condition for its age, showing some signs of age and general wear. Under magnification it can be seen that there is a hairline break in the central bead effect section ofeach ring shoulder but this is not visible to thenaked eye and does not affect the stability of the ring.
