There is a British hallmark showing King George III head, the Lion passant indicating sterling silver and the date letter 'M' 1807.

BEAUTIFULPAIROF ANTIQUEGILDED GRAPE SCISSORS.
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF ANTIQUE SCISSORS SET IN STERLING SILVER. THE GRAPE SCISSORS HAVE A VINE AND GRAPE DESIGN RUNNING UP THE HANDLES TO A VINE FINGER HOLES. THE SCISSORS HAVE BEEN GILDED AND GIVE A WONDERFUL WARM YELLOW GLOW. THEY ARE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION BUT THE GILDING HAS WORN IN SOME AREAS OF THE SCISSORS. THEY ARE MARKED WITH KING GEORGE III HEAD, THE LION PASSANT INDICTING STERLING SILVER AND THE DATE LETTER 'M' 1807. THE MAKES MARK IS 'TPER' WHICH WE BELIEVE TO BE THOMAS PHIPPS & EDWARD ROBINSON. A LOVELY ITEM.
