This is a superb beautiful antique spring driven carved mahogany vienna regulator wall clock
The case is in excellent condition for its age as you can see from the photographs
Case
The case has superb carved mahogany pillars going down each side of the glazed front door which are in good condition and have a beautiful patina to them
The door has arched top through which you can see the dial and the swinging pendulum
It has a superb carved mahogany top pediment which has a superb architectural design to it with the the carved balistaids for the balcony design
To the base of the clock you have a domed bottom pediment which is of good quality with a finial to each side and the bottom all of which are in good condition
The whole clock is of good quality and all original, it has a arch glazed front door which has a turn latch to keep the door shutDial

It has a 5 inch 2 part porcelain dial with black roman numerals, comes with black fancy hands which are surrounded by a brass bezel

The dial is in excellent condition with no damage to either part

Movement

The clock has a 8 day german gong striking movement that strikes once on the half past and full hour counting on the hour
The movement comes with its original wood and brass pendulum and a new brass winding key
Movement is in good working order, keeping good time and striking when it shouldMeasurements
The clock measures 41.5 inches high x 15 inches wide (at widest) x 7.5 inches deep (at deepest)

After the 14 days we offer a 60 day warranty on our clock movements which means if after the 14 day period if a fault is found within the clock mechanism then you can return it to us for it to be repaired in our workshops at no cost to you only return postage, this is limited to 60 days from the date of saleThe warranty excludes mainsprings and mainspring damage caused by forcefully overwinding and also excludes any setting up or balancing issues (A Professional/experienced person is recommended when first setting the clock up)
