Up for sale is a very beautiful all bisque lady halfdoll.She is pictured inthe \"The Collector\'sEncyclopedia of Half-Dolls\"by F. Marion & N. Werner\"on p.133.(Photo 4.)She is wearing a soft lemon yellow gown with a low boat neckline trimmed with frilly white lace. Her white underpinning forms a \"V\" at her waist & is trimmed with a forest green bow.Her dress sleeves have white lace \'below her elbow\' sleeves.Her soft dark blonde hair is held off her face by a dark brown hair band. She has two plumes dancing atop her head~one blue beside a green one. She has several rows of beading in the back.Her hair has a bun on op of her head, sweet sausage curls framing each side of her beautiful face and with long curls draping down her backshoulders.Hersweet face has rosycheeks, red Cupid likelips, dark eyes with a very fine jet black liner above them. She has one strokechocolate blackeyebrows. (Photo 3.)Both her arms are \'away\' & return to her midriff area holding her blue & white fan.Incised on herbackbottom porcelain in fancy script is \" GERMANY\" & her model number \"2286\" along with a symbol.(Last photo.)She is a very beautiful lady,indeed!
She has no chips, flakes, cracks,flakes damage or restoration anywhere! She has paint wear commensurate with her age. Mentioned for complete & utter accuracy purposes, she has a small rough spot on the back bottom done in the manufacturing process~it is not damage.She measures approximately 3 1/2 inches high (photo 7)& approximately 1 inch across the bottom opening.(All measurements taken at longest/widest/highest points.)
