ANTIQUE GERMAN FREIA 1948 PORTABLE SEWING MACHINE BY ERNST FISCHER VERY RARE:

This is a wonderful old portable sewing machine that still plugs in and runs. The light can go on and off. I don\'t know beyond that how well it works. It\'s missing the side panel cover as you can see from pictures but that doesn\'t effect the machine itself. The cord was upgraded at some point to a new cord- it was spliced closer to the machine so that it has a more modern plug that works in the US. The handle itself is missing but the two metal brackets are still there. I grew up for years with my father owning a sewing machine store and so I saw many unique machines. I think this was one of the most fascinating!

The pictures are the description, although feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase! The machine itself weighs about 25 lbs so this will be a heavy box. I ship via priority mail usually but occasionally UPS- whichever is most secure and cost effective, depending on the final destination. In this case, it looks like UPS will be the cheapest option and they tend to take better care of large boxes.
