Antique German made Friedrich Mauthe (FMS) grandfather clock movement. Probably 1900-1920. This is one my spares but I don’t need it anymore. Friedrich Mauthe is considered to be one the top German clock manufacturers while they were in business. This particular model is made of solid brass, stamped with serial number and the famous FMS Eagle design trademark. This model strikes on the 1/2 and full hour with classic two note “bim bam” chime. The dial size with 12 5/8”HxW. Polished pendulum bob with all the adjustment screws. Two fully leaded weights together at 18.4 lbs. The weights are dent at the bottom. There is no wood pendulum shaft or chime brackets. I may have some some later for sake as I work my way through 2 storage containers of stored clocks and accessories. I have not tested this movement.

I describe my clocks that I am selling to the best of my ability. Remember these clocks are used and not new. I bought this clock while living in Germany and I’m now liquidating my collection of 400 Table, wall, Grandfather, Mora clocks from Germany, France, England, Austria and Sweden.
