19th century German porcelain figural pipe head, unmarked, probably Meissen, circa 1850

A later copy of the 18th century example in the book, see last photo.

Well modeled head of a Turkish Lady wearing a turban, beads and earrings.

The turban in mat blue with gilt stars, the puse neck ruff with scroll truncation and yellow marbled collar.

Gilt brass hinged cover with ventilated rim.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair, light wear to the mat blue and gilt beads.

Guaranteed old and original.
