A wonderful, antique, Santa Claus and Sleigh that must have held candy or a present (see photo). Santa Claus has a cloth suit and a composition face and hands. He holds a Christmas Tree in one hand and has a label on the bottom of one foot that reads " MADE IN GERMANY " (see photo). The sleigh is made out of a very heavy (stiff) cardboard (wood?), and is covered in mica. It appears to have had something attached to the front (Reindeer?) because there are two holes that go all the way through (see photo). The sleigh measures approximately 6 3/4" long x 4" high x 2 1/8" wide. Santa Claus measures approximately 4" tall to the top of his hood and with his legs bent for sitting. He is in good condition with normal wear from age and use. The sleigh is also in good condition with a little wear on the edges.
