Up for sale from my personal collection is a very rareantique Japanese calligraphy scroll byKan Tenju (1727-1795), nanga painter, calligrapher and print artist. Friend of Ike no Taiga; in 1760, they started to climb the three sacred mountains in Japan: Hakusan, Tateyama and Fujisan; after Taiga\'s death Tenju published a manual of his landscapes.

Hand painted on papr, signed with three seals, the scroll is in prettygood condition for its age, some spots are professionally repaired and the scroll is remounted.16.5 x 73inches.
