Antique Pearlware Wedgwood Tea Cup & Saucer 'chrysanthemum Pattern' Circa 1810:
Superb Antique Wedgwood PearlwareHandpainted and Enamelled Tea Cup and Saucer
Beautiful tea cup and saucer handpainted in Wedgwood's Chrysanthemum Pattern printed in brown and overpainted in blue, green, iron red and orange.
Bute shaped cup and deep saucer.
Loop handle to the cup.
The inside of the cup is quite heavily crazed but there are no chips or cracks.
The gilding is rubbed around the edges of the cup and saucer.
There are some tiny specs of green enamel missing on a couple of the green leaves near the top edge of the cup.
The cup has a blue 'x' on the base and the saucer has a similar mark.
Size: Saucer 14 cm diameter.
Cup 6 cm high x 9 cm diameter at top edge.
