The exact size is:2'-1" x 3'-4" (63 x 102cm).Typical for these types of antique Kurdish weavings is the offset, shared warp, knotting in the field, a weaving technique used by the Jaff tribethat allows the weaver to create a crisp compositionto her design sequence. This lovely antique collector bag face is all wool in construction with 100% natural, plant-derived, dyes.The brown dye lot is oxidized. For the most part, the pile is full (see photo 10) with some minor moth bite spots and some lower pile areas along the top border. The sides are complete with some old repair to the over-castings.
