THIS IS A EARLY SETH THOMAS MARINE LEVER CLOCK DATED 1878, IN ANTIQUE CONDITION I DO NOT HAVE THE KEY IT DOES NOT WORK. THIS IS WHAT I FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS CLOCK. SOLD AS IS. GREAT OLD PIECE. ABOUT 6 1/2" BY 3 3/8" THICK.a one-day marine lever clock with nickel-plated case, 6` dial marked with black Roman numerals and gradations, black spade hands, fast-slow regulator at 12 o`clock, and secondary dial at 6 o`clock. The secondary dial is marked Patented / Apr 16, 1878 indicating that this example is from the first production run. THESE PIECES ARE FROM A GENERAL STORE THE MAN WAS A COLLECTOR ALSO. THIS WAS A SHOP IN DOWN TOWN MARBLEHEAD MASS. THAT WAS CLOSED UP IN 1980 THEN JUST OPEN THIS YEAR TO SELL OFF IT'S CONTENTS. AMAZING PIECES THAT YOU NEVER SEE IN ONE PLACE. I WILL BE LISTING ITEMS. ALL ARE VINTAGE TO ANTIQUE. ALL SOLD AS IS. PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PICTURES BEFORE offerDING AS I DO NOT TAKE RETURNS. MOST PIECES I HAVE ONLY ONE OF. HE COLLECTED ANTIQUE.
