ORIGINAL ANTIQUE RELIGIOUS PAINTING ON ANIMAL HIDE

I honestly don\'t know much about this painting, other than it\'s old, quite striking, and painted on animal hide. It seems like a scene of religious allegory, and appears to have some Arabic(?) script in black ink. There seem to beAsian and North Africanmotifs.
The painting measures 10.5 by 7.25 inches (including quarter-inch border), ink, watercolor, gilt, and gauche on somewhat heavy, tanned animal hide. Not sure if this could be a biblical scene, or scene from the Koran (forgive my ignorance here). Anyway, it\'s a striking image, well executed, and definitely has quite a bit of age on it too (I\'m guessing 1910s/20s, but could be a lot earlier). Few spots of light wear and early soiling, generally bright and clean (photographed with and without the flash). It deserves to be framed, and would look amazing properly framed.
