ANTIQUE RICE'S POPULAR FLOWER SEED OAK BOX w PANSIES COUNTRY STORE DISPLAY. Antique country store display wooden oak box for RICE'S POPULAR FLOWER SEEDS with colorfully lithographed paper interior lid is clean and in very good condition. Finger joint corners are tight and secure. Note the unique hip (TAPERED) style lid not found on many antique seed boxes. Ornate brass hinges and front clasp are all original. The two hinges have some looseness and play from age and the front clasp is missing a small post on the front that was used to secure the lid in place. The exterior finish is in great shape. Box measures 8-3/4" wide, 11" long and 4-1/4" high. The lid and the base nest together nicely and with out any problems. . THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.
