Description:Antique Russian porcelain serving dish made by the Popov factory, circa 1840. This dish is very similar in style to the Everyday Servicemade by the Imperial Porcelain Factory in the second half of the 19th century. The decoration is based on German Blumendekor but substitutingRussian flowers, in this case a prominently featured pink cabbage rose in the center. In the first quarter of the nineteenth century A.G. Popov created one of the best private porcelain factories in Russia at the 13″ (33 cm).
Condition:Floral painting in excellent condition, colors vibrant, light wear to the decoration consistent with age and use.
