Antique Southern Calendar Clock Company model 2 double dial shelf/mantel clock. 4 3/4\" by 15\" base, 26\" tall case with an additional 4 1/2\" from the original finial. It has a walnut veneered case with chipped veneer across the arched top and on the left side of the base. The finish appears to be original with wear. The column to the left of the case has some marks from the key in the door latch, the right column has a line where the finish has discolored down the outer side. The dials are painted zinc. The top dial shows minor flaking and wear mostly around the winding spots. The letters in the word FASHION can be very faintly seen arched on the top half of the top dial. The bottom dial shows more areas of flaking and wear. The name and address of the Southern Calendar Clock Company is very worn. We had a professional clean and service it for us and we have had the clock running for over a week, keeping good time and keeping track of the days of the month and chiming nicely- we were pretty thrilled when August changed to September. It will ship double-boxed and safely packed. It will likely need to be leveled + adjusted once you set it up at its destination but that should be very simple. Remember that in shorter months, you will have to adjust the calendar yourself.
