I'm having a hoge clear-out at the moment, loads of interesting stuff coming to light!!!!!!

This is a lovely vintage or antique silk piano shawl, with pretty floral embroidery all over and hand knotted fringing all around the edges. I have no idea how old it is but it looks pretty old to me, possibly 1920's? Would look lovely decorating an old 'shabby chic' bedrooom, or to use as a prop for historical re-enactment, very 'Downton Abbey'. The colour is a lovely rich golden colour, darker than it looks in the photos.

It is almost square, measuring 32.5" X 34" not including the fringes which add a further 5.5" all around.

It is not perfect condition, there are some small holes in the silk and there are quite a lot of 'ends' sticking out on the embroidery, which I have tried to show in the photos. Hence I am starting the offerding at a very reasonable price.

If I do not receive payment or any contact from you an unpaid item claim will be filed and the item will be relisted.

Combined shipping is available if more than one item is purchased. (This may not necessarily work out any cheaper but items will arrive in one package). Please ask me if you would like to wait for other sales to finish before paying.

I try to post out within a day or two of receiving payment.

 I usually send everything by 2nd class recorded delivery, I can also send 1st class recorded or Special Delivery at buyer's expense if you need an item quickly (please ask for an invoice before paying).

Please note 1st and 2nd class postage only covers insurance up to the value of £46, if your item is worth more than this I would recommend Special Delivery, please ask for an invoice before paying.

All items sent outside the UK are sent using international 'signed for' airmail.

Customs Duty  If you are buying from outside the UK, please be aware that you will be responsible for any customs duty or charges which apply in your country.

I always get proof of posting, I will provide recorded delivery receipt should any item go missing so that the buyer may claim from the Royal Mail.

All sales are final.

No returns unless I have grossly misrepresented an item and then only by prior arrangement with me.

 I am a busy mum to 4 kids, 3 teenagers and one nearly teen. So please be patient if I don't answer questions right away, they always seem to be hogging the computer!! 

I always try to describe items as accurately as possible but being only human and constantly harassed by teenagers, very occasionally I can make mistakes!!
