Antique stoneware crock canning jar with wire clamped lid. Marked on the lid:
The Weir No. 2. Also marked on the lid are patent dates of 1892 and 1901.
The jar stands 7.5\" tall with lid; diameter is 4\" at the base. This jar has no chips or cracks. There is some rust on the wire clamping assembly.
