*3 PC. LOT*
*ANTIQUE MINIATURE STONEWARE ADVERTISING JUGS...PLUS A 100 YEAR OLD WHIMSICAL ELEPHANT MINI JUG*
This sale is for a three piece lot.
If you are a collector of miniature advertising jugs or simply minitures in general this is a sweet offering. This sale includes all three jugs shown. Two are very collectible antique miniature size advertising stoneware jugs and an early 1900's German signed miniature jug depicting an elephant with his tusk up, very whimsical and quite sweet.
I could have offered eachjug separately, however for the sake of time, I have decided to offer all three for one money with a very low opening offer price to encourage offerding, super nice lot for resale....If you are a collector of miniature advertising jugs, you already know that they are very cross-collectible, expensive, and highly sought after by stoneware and primitive collectors. If you have a look on there area handful of miniature jugs that range in pricefrom $250.00 on up to $950.00 for one tiny jug. Of course, rarity and condition are key factors.
(1) The first jug is an early 1900's JONES BROS. & CO. Manufacturers of Blue Grass Belle Vinegar, Louisville, KY., acoiled stoneware jug, cobalt blue lettering under glaze, noted a few glaze nibbles on the very bottom, shown, possibly occured in the making, photos of every angle taken, 3 1/4" tall x 2" dia..
(2) The second jug, I do believe might be quite rare being Old Nauvoo and advertising wine. In my opinion this jug dates approx. C. 1930 +/-, not quite antique but certainly vintage with several decades behind it. Front reads: BAXTER'S OLD NAUVOO BRAND WINES, cobalt blue lettering under glaze, very nice condition, tiny bottom edge nibble, 3 1/8" tall x 2 1/8", cork remains in it's mouth. Nauvoo has quite a history being a Mormon settlement area, no alcoholic beverages allowed..so this might have some added value to this little jug, I could not find another...
(3) Last, is a very sweet antique C. 1900 era glazed pottery miniature jug depicting an elephant with it's tusk up, signed GERMANY, brown drip with glaze. Stands approx. 2 1/4" tall x 2 1/4" from handle to spout. Great little jug!!!
I have taken many photos showing all three jugs in great detail, re: fronts, sides, bottoms, every angle possible for your inspection. If you have any questions, please just ask..Happy Hunting! Thanks for visiting and enjoy the sale...

PLEASE READ: I treat my customers as I would hope to be treated. We obtain our vintage and antique offerings from various estates, private homes and collections, flea markets, yard sales, estate sales, sales, and the reservation. To be fair and honest,I havephotographed the items to the very best ofmy ability from every angle possible with many close-ups for your examination. I try to include enough information noting any obvious imperfections, flaws, wear, or damage. I am an honest reputable seller, 99% of my items offered are estate items, vintage & antique and as such, they are not new. Many of the items thatwe offer have lived a long life before coming to you or me, they are offered in 'as found' 'as shown'condition. RETURNS: Of course, we stand behind everything we offer however we are an "all sales are final" sale. Returns are only'considered' for misrepresentation, this means grossly misrepresented, returns cannot be accepted for: change of heart- that dreaded buyers remorse, offerding wars, buyer speculation, or because there is a tiny micro blemish that we did not mention, vintage and antiqueitems exhibit some wear, this is to be expected. I am a collector of 35+ years,I amnot a shop, I offer many items for elderly friendsthat have collected all their lives and native Americanbrothers and sisterson the reservation, I pay these folkspromptly, so I cannot accept returns for unjustified reasons.
