Antique, large & superb French Navaja folding dagger - circa 1850.
The wide, impressive blade is signed but it hard to make out - the hand-forged blade shows beautiful grain and it is very sharp.
The handle adorned with colorful tortoise and cow bone plaquesplaques and brass sections.
Very good condition for the age - no losses or repairs - please view detailed pictures.
It measures overall 43.5 cm long (17\"), the blade only is 20.5 cm long.
