Antique Swiss Geneva Sterling Silver Champleve Cloisonne Enamel Souvenir Spoon For Sale
A vintage, Swiss Sterling Silver & enamel spoon.
Fresh from an Atlanta estate comes this unusual spoon. It has an egg shaped bowl, a combination of both champleve & cloisonne enamel work on the handle. The back of the bowl is also enameled in the Russian, Eastern European style. It has a gold (gilded, vermeil) butler's (matte) finish. It is an early souvenir spoon with "Geneva" engraved in the bowl. See my other sales for the other pieces seen in last photo.
It measures about 4 7/8" (12.5 cm.) long.
It is in good condition with no dents, bends or gouges to silver but some enamel loss on the shank. offer now! When will you get another chance? You are not spending, you are investing.
It is marked "925" & has the silversmith's initials "J.T.".
