Antique Sword: British Or Canadian Rifles Officer's Sword. Victorian Age. For Salefor sale. Closest match I could find is the CANADIAN P.1827/45 ROYAL CANADIAN RIFLES OFFICER’S SWORD: Maker: W. BUCKMASTER & CO., 1841-84. However the markings at the base of the hilt are different. I purchased it at a flea market in England in 1992. . It's engraved with the words Badham Pile & Co, Bombay Poona, Secunderabad. On the other side is a circular makers mark but I can only make out a D and an L (I think). I have the leather scabbard but it's in really bad shape. The blade has several knicks. It has the VR on the blade for Victoria Regina so it's definitely 19th century.
